DPA - Danish Songwriters guild
DPA is a nonprofit organization, democratically governed by more than 1000 creators among Denmark's very best and most professional within all known popular genres of music. DPA are one of the founding fathers of our national Collecting Society founded in 1926, and as such represented in the board of directors of Koda.
Each year in late spring, around 8,000 guests visit Aarhus to experience more than 200 concerts from new, as well as more established bands and artists from Denmark and the other Nordic countries.
The ambition of SPOT Festival is to create a promotional platform for Danish and Nordic music. The profile, line-up and scheduling are primarily dictated by the ambition to back new bands and artists who have the artistic level to do well internationally.
Mich Hedin Hansen (aka. Cutfather) is a Danish producer and songwriter, who wrote hits for some of the biggest international stars including Little Mix, Alesso, Demi Lovato, Olly Murs, Matoma, FloRida, Pussycat Dolls, Kylie Minogue etc. Cutfather is also known as one of the former judges in the Danish X Factor, which he won in 2011.
